Privacy Policy

This policy covers rarefied.earth, the Groundwork product (admin.rarefied.earth and connector.rarefied.earth), and email you exchange with us. It is written in plain language because that is how we write everything. The operating company is Earth Evocation Incorporated d/b/a Rarefied Earth, St. Petersburg, Florida.

What we collect

• Account data. Your name, email address, and company name, provided at checkout, by invite, or by request. Sign-in is handled by Clerk; we never see or store your password.
• Billing data. Handled by Stripe. Card numbers never touch our systems; we hold the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers needed to run your account.
• Usage metering. The Groundwork connector counts calls per token and per tenant (minute, day, month) and records the NAMES of tools your agents call with timestamps. It does not record tool arguments, agent conversations, or the content of your files.
• Your company state. If you use Groundwork, your substrate snapshot (brand, voice rules, priorities, module inventory, skills) is stored so the connector can serve it back to your own agents. It is scoped to your tenant and served only to your tokens.
• Email. Messages you send us are filed in our engagement records. Transactional email (welcome, digests) is sent through Postmark.
• Website. The public site sets no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics cookies.

What never happens

• The connector is read-only: it cannot write to your workspace, and it makes zero model calls on our account or yours. Your agent conversations stay in your own AI tools under your own agreements with those vendors.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their own use. Ever.
• We do not train models on your data.
• Your files remain yours. Cancel and they are still sitting in your workspace, plain and portable.

Subprocessors

These vendors process limited data so the product can run:

• Cloudflare: hosting, DNS, and the connector/dashboard runtime (Workers, KV).
• Stripe: payments and subscription state.
• Clerk: dashboard sign-in (OAuth and email).
• Postmark: transactional email delivery.
• Sentry: error monitoring on our own infrastructure (alerts carry incident metadata, never your tokens or content).

Retention and deletion

Account and billing records are kept while your subscription is active and as long as tax and accounting law requires afterward. Usage counters roll over on their own windows. Cancel and ask us to delete your tenant, and we remove your snapshot, tokens, and metering keys; email joseph.scott@rarefied.earth and it is handled by a person, not a queue.

Data-processing commitments

• We process your data only to provide the service you bought, on your documented instructions, never for our own purposes.
• Subprocessors are limited to the list above; if that list materially changes we notify active subscribers by email first.
• Personnel access is one engineer, credentialed, with secrets in a hardware-backed keychain; there is no offshore support tier and no data broker anywhere in the chain.
• On termination and request, tenant data (snapshot, tokens, meters) is deleted; billing records are retained only as tax law requires.
• If your procurement requires a signed data-processing agreement, email us; we execute reasonable DPAs on customer paper.
