Terms of Service
These terms cover Groundwork subscriptions purchased at rarefied.earth. They are deliberately short and written to be read. Consulting engagements are governed by their own signed agreements, not this page. The operating company is Earth Evocation Incorporated d/b/a Rarefied Earth, a Florida corporation.
The subscription
- Paid tiers are month to month with a 14-day free trial that requires a card and converts automatically on day 14 unless you cancel first.
- Your founding rate stays locked for as long as your subscription stays active, even as list prices rise.
- Usage pools at your organization; there is no per-seat fee and no setup fee.
- Cancel any time from the dashboard or by email; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and nothing renews after that.
- Rate limits and an anomaly kill-switch protect the service; we alert ourselves when either triggers so problems are fixed before you have to write in.
What is yours, what is ours
- Yours: your files, your company state, your brand assets, and everything Groundwork writes into your workspace. It is plain files; if you leave, it all stays with you unchanged.
- Ours: the Groundwork software, module designs, connector, and documentation. Your subscription grants use, not ownership or resale.
- Your connector tokens are credentials: keep them like passwords. You are responsible for calls made with your tokens until you revoke them (revocation is immediate, from the dashboard or by request).
Acceptable use
Don't probe or overload the service, resell access, misrepresent your identity at checkout, or use the product to violate the law. We can suspend accounts doing these things; where practical we will tell you what happened and how to fix it, because silent bans help no one.
Honesty about maturity
Groundwork runs daily on the company that built it, and surfaces marked as early are labeled that way in the product. The service is provided as-is; we fix what breaks quickly and say so plainly. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Housekeeping
Florida law governs, with venue in Pinellas County, Florida. If we change these terms materially we will email active subscribers before the change takes effect. Questions to joseph.scott@rarefied.earth. See also the privacy policy and the trust and security page.
